Senior in-home care franchise is launched in response to growing need for non-medical servicesSeniors whose health is ailing may be reluctant to admit that they need help for fear of burdening their loved ones or exhausting their finances. In such circumstances, it may fall to their relatives to make the decision to seek in-home caregiving for these individuals.

According to Dana Ginter, founder of Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care, her grandmother began needing help with everyday tasks at the age of 84. When Ginter started researching potential solutions, she realized that there was a need for professional quality, non-medical services for older adults.

As a result, she created the nationwide franchise in order to provide this assistance to seniors. The program takes into account each client's level of activity and independence while offering individualized long term care services, such as helping elderly patients bathe and dress.

"My grandmother had herself been a caregiver for several years," Ginter explained. "Now I have the opportunity to not only spend time with her, but to invest in my community and give back to those who deserve it most - our seniors."

Such long term care programs may give elderly individuals the help they need while providing their loved ones with peace of mind.
